Reminiscent of the dove, For when it is happy it will sing Of beauty, of pleasure, of love. The soul is deep and insecure Full of agony and pain, Harsh words and acts it must endure From people's unkind distain. This pain and shame I could take And if needed I surely would, If this humility should make The bond between us good. I would endure it and smile Knowing it was all worthwhile. Little one who springs with life And sends my world a light...
