full of empty hopes and dreams
The life which we led
filled with beautiful memories and broken dreams
Through the looking glass, I see
with tearfull eyes, I see
I see the wind and rain wash it all away
my hopes and dreams of yesterday
Still life goes on, and it must go on
Unsympathetically blind, ruthlessly rolls on
Who am I to ask why
No less whom would I ask
I look to elders for inspiration
Yet their withered lives prove no motivation
On nights like this, I stare at the black sky
and wonder and wonder and wonder ...
