[Engels] Opmerkingen over mijn verslag?

Vandaag heb ik voor mijn SE Engels een verslag geschreven naar aanleiding van een kort stukje video.

Willen jullie kijken of ik soms wat foutjes heb gemaakt? (naar mijn idee was er niks mis mee )

Napoleon’s good deeds

In a heavy cockney accent, Napoleon pleaded to be let into the train station without having to pay (“like everybody else”). “Come on, I ain’t got all the time in the world”, he snapped. And so, that morning he was, again, the first to enter the station lavatories.

Napoleon is a short man with long hair, a beard and a moustache. At 08:15 he is at a station platform, and he is looking at the men and women that have just come off a train. For some reason, he follows a woman in a red coat and skirt. He sees her drop her bank card while she is struggling with a locker. She does not notice and walks away. Napoleon puts the card into the woman’s locker.

After that, he walks around the station, and even sees a corpse being taken away by police officers. Something about that scene made him frightened and he ran back to the station, where he spots the lady in red again. It is 17:45, she found her bank card, but is bound to miss her train. A train guard blows his whistle, and the train is about to leave, but Napoleon opens a door so the train cannot leave yet. Because of this action, the lady in red is just in time to get on the train. When she is inside, they give each other a look of understanding.

I ain’t got all the time in the world --> I haven't got all the time in the world lijkt mij beter, omdat dat formal British English is. ain't lijkt mij Amerikaans ofwel dialect.

He sees her drop her bank card --> ik weet het niet zeker hoor, maar is het niet dropping?

Something about that scene made him frightened --> something about that scene frightened him

he ran back to the station, where he spots the lady in red again.
--> where he spotted: je moet consequent zijn in het gebruik van je tijden: niet steeds wisselen tussen present en past!

It is 17:45, she found her bank card --> she has found her bank card: het is een present perfect, want het heeft een link met "nu"

zo, dat waren mijn suggesties! hopelijk kan je er iets mee doen!

Oh wat raar. Wij mogen nooit 'ain't' gebruiken van onze lerares Engels. Dat is plat en Amerikaans (zoals Liesjeuh al zegt) en absoluut geen Engels. (aldus die lerares)
