The man who is asleep is laying beside me
I stand up and try to understand
Why this one didn't run away
He now turns
And I can see a smile upon his face
His raven black hair is
A contrast with the white sheets.
As I go downstairs, a magnificent force is upon me
The kitchen is the same
But bread looks like he's trying to accuse me
Table looks dirty
And the coffee machine seems to dislike me now
But I said "no"
And broke them all
"I will not have this damn house stop me
From getting what I want
The man I once loved is dead
But allow me to get a second chance"
Changes are inevitable
So is life, I once thought
But this man I hardly know
Kisses me on my back
And his voice is soft
"We're gonna have to buy a new one."
