Formed when 4 guys, who accidently found themselves together in a flat with a guitar, discovered when drunk, that it was fun to make music. Flat 29 has continually amazed audiences with their wit and style. Taking inspiration from life around them and their personal trials and tribulations, Flat 29 are able to gather a startling deep response from the listener, a thing which many actual musicians fail to do. Their first gig was an impromptu performance at an open mic night of "The Soup Song", culminating in a 30 person chorus whilst engauging in manoeuvres to the next bar of the evening. The release of their first album: "Cumstains on the sheets: The bedroom sessions" in June 2005 has resulted in much acclaim from both their fans and critics alike, and with a new album in the works for release next year, Flat 29 look set for world domination. A few line up changes have occured due to the relentless march of time and Flat 29 have welcomed many new members into the fold. Whilst not all of them call Flat 29 their home, they spend enough time there to become honorary members and thus the power of flat 29 has increased, and can be heard on the first release from their second album, planned for winter 2005. Currently flat 29 are in the midst of writing and recording their new album and early indications show that it will indeed be awesome-o.
