For older versions of Nero, these instructions should work. Unless you are 'sure' of the speed at which your cdr will burn successfully, you may want to test your drive to avoid the dreaded coaster syndrome.
From the Nero window; 1.Open the following menu entry: File -> Burn CD image. 2. set the type of file: All files (*.*) 3. select the ISO image file to be burned. 4. you will be informed that Nero does not recognize the format of the image file. Please confirm this dialog. 5. In the dialog which then appears, set the following parameters. 6. Type of image: Data Mode 1 7. Block size: 2048 Bytes 8. File precursor and length of the image trailer: 0 Bytes 9. no Scrambled and no Swapped 10. Click on OK, then Burn. Use the following instructions for newer versions of Nero 1. Start Nero 2. Choose the menu command "File"->"Burn Image" 3. An "Open" file dialog box appears with the following image types supported (*.nrg, *.iso, *.cue) 4. Select your download LinuxISO file and click Open 5. The "Write CD" dialog box appears with several tabs (Info, Foreign image, Misc, Burn). 6. Click the 'Burn' Tab 7. Confirm that 'Write' and 'Finalize' are selected 8. Click on "Write". Watch it burn.
