Engelse sammenvatting, niet mijn sterkste punt. Misschien dat jullie er een paar foutjes uit kunnen halen. Volgens mij kloppen de tijden niet echt.

The first part of the story is in the office of Russell Bowden is in Brighton and the second part is in Rio de Janeiro. It is an adventure book. The perspective of the story is something like looking from above. The book is about the inventor Russell Bowden and his assistant Neil Garton who are trying to bring their new design to perfection. This brings them a lot of trouble.

Russell Bowden and Neil Garton are tying to invent a new kind of battery for electric cars so you can drive in it much longer. Then they get a warning from dr. Lurcher who is a very rich man who is so rich because of oil. Everybody needs it because they have a car. He doesn’t want anybody to invent a good working electric car, because he won’t be rich after a time because he won’t sell oil anymore.

Also a far friend of Bowden called Antonio Severo has been warned by dr. Lurcher. He is trying to invent a way to sent electricity trough the air. He has completed his investigation and now dr. Lurcher is trying to steel his notes and his phones at his office and at his home.

Then they had planned to send the notes to Neil Garton, because they would be safe at his house. But then dr. Lurcher kidnapped Rufus Garton and Antonio Severo. After this he called Miriam that she had to give him the notes or she would never see Antonio and Rufus back.

She had already send the package to Neil. She directly called Bowden to tell him the whole story and told him to send the package back when it arrived, but Bowden told her that he and Neil would come as soon as possible to Rio. So when they got to the package that morning they directly called a last minute line to ask what was the first flight to Rio.

It was a flight that evening so they called Miriam that they would come the next day. When they arrived in Rio they got to the Hotel where Miriam stayed. The day before Miriam had searched for the place where Dr. Lurcher stays. It was on an Island in a bay in Rio; They took a power boat and got to the Island. They let Miriam out at one side of the island. Then Russell and Neil were going to the other side of the island. They had a disc player with them at the moment they turned the music on Lurcher and his bodyguards were going to look what was happening.

Miriam could walk into the big Villa in the middle of the island to free Rufus and Antonio. Then they jumped into the boat and called the police when they were sailing away from the island the police boats were coming to it to arrest Dr. Lurcher and his helpers.

Even een keertje kritisch nalezen kan ik je aanraden. Probeer ook langere zinnen in korte zinnen op te breken. Dat leest plezieriger.
