We call an unfinished story a cliffhanger. You finish the story. You get the introduction and you add the further development of the plot and the ending. You’d better use a dictionary if you want to produce a nice story. (online: look in Google – online dictionaries ).
Use vocabulary that really describes the situation.
The structure of your part of the story must contain the following parts:
- the discovery of something astonishing…
- which suddenly becomes threatening…
- a sudden turn of events, which solves the problem
- a happy ending
Underwater World (Story started by Cassie, aged 12, from London)
Introduction
-----------------
The sea was just as beautiful underwater. Tropical fish swam in between the garlands of seaweed, while anemones in all different colours open and shut. Pebbles and shells were scattered on the sea floor, in different shapes and sizes. Oysters revealed milky pearls in between their jaws. The coral reef nearby was particularly clear that day. Limpets clung to rocks, while the occasional dolphin could be seen, jumping out of the water. It was such a wonderful sensation to be a part of this peaceful, undisturbed world. It was so different from the hustle and bustle of the city above them. It was magical.
als er iemand zo'n huiswerk al gemaakt heeft, gelieve mij dan de rest van het verhaal te geven he ;
