Guitarist and improviser extraordinaire Alan Courtis (Buenos Aires, 1972) is not only a figurehead within the Argentinian underground scene, but also often appears in the international spotlights. His CV shows endless summaries of releases and collaborations with a.o. Lee Ranaldo, Damo Suzuki or Francisco Lopez. Courtis was the co-founder of the sadly defunct REYNOLS, maybe the finest example of true outsider-music in recent years. Courtis studied classical guitar, piano and composition but first and foremost excells as an electro-acoustic improvisor.

Horacio Pollard is one of the most exciting artists to emerge out of London recently. He is the founder of Neigh Music; a net label that releases challenging alternative music, and he´s spearheading the UK underground scene, proving that there´s much more on offer musically than the media makes us believe. Horacio Pollard´s music is frantic, furious and quite fucked up, but it can also be melodic, always maintaining a catchy neanderthal groove. He has shared stages with Lightning Bolt, Ove-Naxx, Doddodo, dj Scotch Egg and recently played the Wasted #4 fest during Clubtransmediale in Berlin.
