Citaat:
How the 2.0 youth redefined global relations and changed the planet.
It were good times, as we look back this day and age.
It was just before the year 2000 A.D,. the hot issues in the media concered the new millenium and in particular the "millenium bug" and the computer crisis that it would be causing.
Things used to be simple, what we did not know then was that the post-millenium era would become to be known as the "2.0 era".
We all know the major international events in between the year 2000 and now, the attacks on the world trade center, the following unrest and wars, but in those years other events took place outside the limelight.
To understand the why there is civil unrest in north africa, the middle east and beyond one must know what the population in those country's looks like, one must know that in fact most of these county's in the middle and far east with dictator-like government have a population which is becomming younger e.g. iran these days consists out of a majority of people younger than 30.
The governments in these states are usually older people enforcing strickt rules concerning how a person must be, what a person should or should not read and so on, but with the progressing expansion of internet and as the years go by it has become more and more impossible to filter everything.
<insert social media>
<insert google service for disconnected libya residents>
<describe situation north africa>
<decribe middle east (bahrein, yemen, oman, etc>
etc...
<insert a piece about the next generation the generation that grew up without knowing what a no-internet no-computer enviroment was like>
