The article is about pledges that SODEXO (one of the worlds largest food service companies) has made. They’ve pledged that they will try to eliminate obesity by children. They will add more nutritious options in their food range. The company supports Mrs. Obama’s anti-childhood obesity initiative. Sodexo says it wil be better for al the people. Not only for the children, but also the adults who act as rol models. They will not only provide a healthier meal, but also redesign lunchrooms to encourage kids to choose healthier foods. The main reason why i choose this article is that SODEXO delivers the food supplies (and catering) to my internship: rest home ¨Wissekerke Bazel¨. When I helped in the kitchen I’ve encountered they’re really trying to give the elderly healthy and delicious food. I Think it’s very important to eliminate children’s obesity problems because in fact they are the future. So if they have obesity, in think their children will take them as rol model and will also become fat like their parents. It’s common knowledge that people eat too much fat and too little vitamines.
