She tried not to whimper
Not loudly
Yet each miniscule sound
Screamed at her
In it's silence
Footsteps come closer
Echoing in her mind
Only her whimper is louder
She presses her black and blue body
Further into the shallow corner
Under the shelf she watches
Feet coming closer
Slowing, stopping,
Starting, walking away,
She takes a little breath
Whimpering at the stabbing
Shards of broken bones
Again silence reins
With only her jagged breathing
Screaming in the air
Slowly her body relaxes
She has seen the movies
If she gets out now
He'll find her
So she stays
Darkness engulfs the room
Eyelids exhausted from constant alert
Drop
Breathing slows
A shallow snore faintly draps the room
Padded feet come closer
Stopping infront of her
A hand reaches out
Caressing sharply
Her gashes and marks
Pain causes a
Scream
Eyes snap open
Alert again
She had waited to long
The face of nightmares
Stares down at her
Arms open
An evil smile stretches across perfect lips
"Come now, you know better then to hide from Daddy."
