De nacht is altijd ietsje mooier als je je eenzaam voelt. Probeer dat maar eens te verwoorden...

Nee, dat is fout Engels, en dat is de taal waarin je schrijft.

Ik vind het erg moeilijk de betekenis te raden, weet dus niet of dit goed is. Je begon in een droom waarin je belde, afgewisseld met een waken waarin je niet gebeld wordt en wilt worden, ondanks dat het je goed zou doen. Het komt, of dit nu goed is of niet, bij mij in ieder geval, niet goed over.

Waar i/I een keuze is, lijkt dit me incorrect taalgebruik, of ben ik nu erg hypocriet? 'they might never know' is ook zoiets dat wringt en er zitten wel meer dingen in waarvan ik denk 'mwah...'.

Ik vind het wel een mooi gedicht. Vooral omdat het een redelijk 'moeilijk' engels gedicht is. Vaak zie je een beetje simpel taalgebruik (wat overigens ook erg mooi kan zijn).
