Nah. Sony is funest voor alles wat staat voor kwaliteit. Liever Sega en Nintendo, alhoewel die Dreamcast natuurlijk maar weinig écht goede spellen heeft gehad. Op enkele obscure niche titels na.

toch wel verschil in de GFX van FNR3:
ps3  x360  ps3  x360  Niet echt grote verschillen maar toch duidelijk betere textures, wat meer polygonen voor de models en lighting

zo als dat geen fotosoep is dan is het wel verbluffend mooi!
Maar die ps3 versie is wel een jaar later gekomen dan de 360. Dus dat het er beter uitziet is niet verwonderlijk.

Dat ziet er inderdaad verbluffend uit, zeker voor een EA game. Maar het is, zoals MM zegt, nog maar zeer de vraag of dit in-game is. Het zou niet voor het eerst zijn dat Sony ons verslijt voor gekke Henkie.

Wat is het nut van dit thread nou eigenlijk? Iedereen koopt toch gewoon het systeem waarvan hij de meeste exclusieve games wil hebben? Discussie over hardware is leuk, maar zolang die hardware nog niet eens bestaat lijkt me dat je een soort welles nietes fanboy discussie krijgt.
Oh, en @ die screenshots, wat is het toch met next-gen graphics en ontzettend lelijke glanslichteffecten?

nou ja, de hardware bestaat wel degelijk. En je hebt gelijk over die effecten; het valt me op dat dat heeeel erg aanwezig is bij games die op een Unreal engine draaien. Net of alles van plastic is

Posted Oct 19th 2006 8:57PM by Ryan Block Filed under: Gaming  Ok, here's a new one: with Sony's announcements today they've issued a titled "Next-generation Console Comparison Fact Sheet," (downloadable here [DOC]) so let's see some facts. First up, were you aware that to use your Xbox 360 Core system you're required to buy the 20GB drive add-on, an HD DVD drive, a wireless controller, and an Xbox Live sub? We weren't either. But hey, it says right there, "requires users to buy" and this is, in fact, a "fact sheet." Of course, none of that's actually true, and what's more, were one to use the Xbox 360 Premium console pack in that chart instead of the Core pack, the total would be $399 for a console with that very same hard drive, wireless controller, and Xbox Live Silver subscription (which provides access to everything but multiplayer) -- remember, kids, an HD DVD drive is not required to do anything but watch high def movies -- it has nothing to do with high def gaming. We hear Microsoft ain't too happy about this chart either and is preparing certain legal action, namely because it could be misleading to otherwise unwitting retail employees selling customers game consoles this holiday season. Go figure. P.S. -In the interest of fairness, it's also worth pointing out the Wii browser is what will cost you after the first 6 months -- not their online service. What's more, if you download the browser before June of 2007, it's straight up free. Otherwise, Nintendo hasn't yet announced details of the cost of their online service so far as we know. Another nice one, Sony. P.P.S. -We just confirmed with Microsoft that another Sony claim -- that you need a memory unit or a hard drive to use the WiFi adapter -- is also false. You can grab a Core pack with no memory card and plug in a WiFi adapter and get on your home network. Lijkt me wel handig, alhoewel de laadtijden me meestal niet storen. Maar misschien kan het wel handig zijn bij een free roaming game, waar constant geladen moet worden. Saints row op de 360 is een goed voorbeeld, alleen werkt het laden daar niet goed en zie je dus vaak ernstige popup of verdwijningen van de omgeving.

Ik denk dat het uiteindelijk nog allemaal best wel meevalt met Sony. Hoewel ik er wel bang voor ben dat de meeste mensen nu al een xbox 360 hebben gekocht, en dus niet nog meer geld gaan spenderen aan een (duurdere) console.
Maar mensen die persé de beste console van de drie willen hebben, zullen toch wel voor de ps3 gaan, en ik denk dat dit toch ook best veel mensen zullen zijn. (en natuurlijk de die-hard playstation-fans) Ik ken iemand die een playstation koopt puur voor de controllers. Ik wou dat sega ook met een console was gekomen, maar helaas. Weet iemand of Sega nog ooit een console op de markt gaat brengen of zich alleen maar bezig gaat houden met de games? Sega was namelijk altijd al veruit mijn favoriet, dus ik hoop dat ze bij de next-next generatie consoles weer "meedoen".

Alleen potwijven kopen een PS3, ieder mens die een heldere gezonde kop heeft weet dat de Xbox360 beter is dan de PS3. PS3 is gewoon een 'wanabee' kopie van de Xbox360 met de online gebeuren. Omdat de PS3 iets meer dan een ander half jaar uitkomt, lijkt me logisch dat er beter hardware in word gestop, iedere jaar word de hardware 'wat' beter. Maar vergeet niet Xbox360 is de eerste console die erin is geslaagd om een top next-gen console van te maken. PS3 moest het helaas kopieren.
Bovendien komen er vette exclusief spellen uit voor de Xbox360! Dus kwa Games ligt de Xbox360 zowieso beter, check Saints Row, Alan Wake, Gears of War.. etc. XBox360 zal betere accesoires krijgen dan de PS3. EN dit is mijn mening, PS3 fans hoeven niet tegen mijn mening te gaan, maar dit wou ik alleen duidelijk maken voor de nieuwkomers of gasten van dit forum. Ik wil hun gewoon duidelijk maken, koop een Xbox360 uit en spaar voor een goedkope HDTV, het is je geld waard, ipv ca 500/600 euro uitgeven aan een PS3. Bovendien heeft de Xbox360 meer luxe, kwa kleur en vorm van de app. De enigste wat de PS3 luxe geeft is dat bling, de PS3 glimt idd, ook een grillapparaat. de PS3 is idd next-gen, geef ik toe, maar zo ook de Xbox360, Xbox360 heft in de toekomst meer te hebben.  misschien leuk voor de kerst, met gourmette... Eetsmakelijk!
