Ik ben niet zo goed in Engels, en nu moest ik een presentatie van 5 minuten houden over English food.
Ik hoop dat iemand de fouten die ik gemaakt heb er uit kan halen.

Hello everybody,
My presentation is about English food.
Breakfast is between 7:00 and 9:00 am
Lunch is between 12:00 and 13:30 pm
Dinner is between 18:30 and 20:00 pm
And in the afternoon there’s high tea.
BREAKFAST
A traditional English breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, baked beans and mushrooms. The traditional English breakfast is called ‘Full English’ and sometimes it’s called ‘The Full English Fry-up’.
Now-a-days people don’t eat the traditional breakfast I just describe; today English breakfast consists of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee.
LUNCH
Lunch is not an important meal for British people because they eat a lot for breakfast so they aren’t very hungry at lunch time. The most typical food for lunch is a sandwich, packet of crisps a piece of fruit and a drink. They sometimes drink water coffee of tea.
A sandwich is a double sandwich of bread, triangular cut.
The sandwich was named after John Montagu, the fourth Earl of Sandwich, a village in South East England..
The Earl of Sandwich was a passionate card player and his cook was concerned for the health of the Earl.
That is why the cook made thin richly filled sandwiches which he placed next to the game table so the Earl could eat and play card at the same time.
DINNER
Dinner is the evening meal. It’s the most important meal in the life of British people. That’s also the raison why people eat a lot at dinner. A traditional English dinner is not very different from our dinner. A typical British meal for dinner is meat and two kinds vegetables. One of the vegetables is always potatoes. Other things they eat are; meat, fruit, bread, potatoes, tomatoes, pasta, soup etcetera. At dinner Britsch people drink juice water or wine.
This traditional meal is rarely eaten nowadays; a recent survey found that most people in Britain eat curry! Rice or pasta are now favoured as the 'British Dinner'.
SUNDAY ROAST
On Sundays the main meal of the day is often eaten at midday instead of in the evening. On Sunday they eat the traditional Sunday Roast. It consists of roast meat, two different kinds of vegetables and potatoes with a Yorkshire pudding. The whole family has to be present at the Sunday roast. Actually it’s a small Christmas dinner.
AFTERNOON TEA
The afternoon tea has been introduced by Anna Bedford in 1840. She got hungry between lunch and dinner, around 4 o’clock. So she asked her chef to make some tea, cakes and sandwiches for her. She really liked this idea, and she started to invite her friends to her house for an afternoon cup of tea. Soon all her friends started to drink this afternoon tea at home too. They started offering their visitors sandwiches and cakes too. Soon everyone was enjoying Afternoon tea.
It’s a small meal, not a drink. Traditionally it consists of tea served with: (picture) freshly baked scones, afternoon tea sandwiches and assorted pastries
In these meal people talk about their lives, good and bad news.
This meal is definitely very important for their relationships.
HIGH TEA
High tea is a meal which is eaten around 6 o'clock. In the past it was a heavy meal to quench the hunger of the farmers who have worked the whole day. The afternoon tea is much lighter.
(picture) Traditionally, the high tea consists of salty meals. But now-a-days it also consists of delicious sweet foods. This meal is now often replaced with a supper for people who eat their main meal in the evenings rather than at midday.
FISH AND CHIPS
Fish and chips is traditional English take away food.
it’s fish deep fried in flour batter with chips (fried potatoes).
Fish and chips are normally not cooked at home but bought at a fish and chip shop.

Je gebruikt hier én 24 uurs notatie en am/pm notatie die 2 zaken gaan niet samen

BREAKFAST
A traditional English breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, baked beans and mushrooms. The traditional English breakfast is called ‘Full English’ and sometimes it’s called (overbodig woordgebruik) ‘The Full English Fry-up’.
Now-a-days people don’t eat the traditional breakfast I just described; today English breakfast usually consists of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee.

(zou hier zelf voor een wat galantere zinsconstructie gaan: "Nowadays people don't choose to eat the traditional breakfast I described anymore, they prefer a breakfast made up of ... , maar staat je vrij natuurlijk)

The sandwich was named after John Montagu, (niet echt het is vernoemd naar het dorp waar hij earl van was anders heette het wel "a Montagu" ) the fourth Earl of Sandwich, a village in the South East of England.

The Earl of Sandwich was a passionate card player and his cook was concerned for about/over the health of the Earl.
That is why the cook made thin richly filled sandwiches which he placed next to the game table so the Earl could eat and play cards at the same time.

SUNDAY ROAST
On Sundays the main meal of the day is often eaten at midday (niet echt incorrect m.i. maar waarom niet noon?) instead of in the evening. On Sunday they eat the traditional Sunday Roast. it consists of roast meat, two different kinds of vegetables and potatoes (net noemde je potatoes een vegetable (wat klopt) en nu is het een apart iets, als je het vegetables wil blijven noemen zou ik gaan voor ... thee different kinds of vegetables of which one is potatoes...) with a Yorkshire pudding on the side. The whole family has to be present at the Sunday roast. Actually it’s like a small Christmas dinner.

Soon all her friends started to drink this afternoon tea at home and they started offering their visitors sandwiches and cakes too as well. Soon everyone (weer niet echt fout maar waarom in het begin "everybody" en hier "everyone") was enjoying afternoon tea.
It’s a small meal, not a drink! Traditionally it consists of tea served with: (picture) freshly baked scones, afternoon tea (overbodig woordgebruik) sandwiches and assorted pastries.
In During these meals people talk about their lives, good and as well as (voorkeur) bad news.
This meal is definitely very important for their relationships.

HIGH TEA
High tea is a meal which is eaten around 6 o'clock. In the past it was a heavy meal to quench the hunger of the farmers who have had (PP niet PS) worked the whole day. The afternoon tea is much lighter.
(picture) Traditionally, the high tea consists of salty meals foodstuffs/ingrediënts but now-a-days it also consists of delicious sweet foods. This meal is now often replaced with a supper (ga ik weer hoor maar waarom eerst dinner en hier supper) for people who eat their main meal in the evenings rather than at midday.

FISH AND CHIPS
Fish and chips is traditional English take away food.
it’s fish deep fried fish in flour batter with fried potatoe chips. (fried potatoes)
Fish and chips are normally not cooked at home but bought at a fish and chip shop.
(I beg to differ )
