It took forever, but finally the Tenement Kids debut MCD ‘Doves’ is here! And we’re glad to say that the result absolutely is amazing!

Doves got 8 fierce and dead serious punk rock songs. Amazing riffs, overwhelming dynamics, energetic sing-alongs and absolute passion, which are exactly the ingredients what a good record needs. Inspired by bands like Fugazi, Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Husker Du and the Dead Boys, the Tenement Kids deliver their debut with 26 minutes of heart-wrenching, kicking and screaming, sandpaper-throated punk rock melodies. Coming in a slick package, with stunning artwork by Ivo, this is a release you can look and listen to at any moment and discover more details. Meanwhile Freek has left the Tenement Kids to leave to Manchester and complete his study, but Martijn is taking over this duty.
