Uk was launched the swine flu vaccination last week. The priority group and frontline health workers has received the first vaccine. It will help prevent people from getting swine flu and the complications that may arise from it.
The swine flu has infected almost 400.000 people since April and 4700 have died, according to the World Health Organization. But these are small numbers compared to those who die every year from malaria, AIDS or even normal influenza. What do you think: Is the swine flu just a media hype or a major danger?
Officials say the latest outbreak IS being passed from person to person and it's thought to be passed on in the same way as human flu... by coughing and sneezing.
This is the way how the virus spreads around the world.
One of the first cases has shown us the virus attacks only people with weak immune. But it’s possible that healthy people to get infected by the virus.
Past few month you heard so much about the swine flu in the media. Everyone said: we don’t how dangerous could be or its getting bad. And they have warned us if we don’t do something, 120 millions could die.
Due to the media the pharmacy and the companies benefits from swine flu. GlaxoSmithKline and Roche, which produce Tamiflu and Relenza. 3M, makes masks worn at hospitals and recommend by the governments to help to stop spread of airborne disease.
Johnson & Johnson, which makes medical supplies.
Beside this their stock prices have been increased since the outbreak in Mexico. As you can see the swine flu is a ‘billion dollar’ business.
