A broken home

Sitting in the living room, watching the tree,
My thoughts just slip away, they make me sad,
Even though I’m not alone, I feel so lost,
Because I’m celebrating without my dad.

As a little girl I loved to be with my family,
Sitting around the fire, just talking to each other,
With snow and the dog licking me all over,
But it seems like it doesn’t even bother.

I want it back, I just want my family back,
But I can’t and I’m crying like a little baby,
I lose, I’ve lost everything, will I ever find it?
Give me one present under the Christmas tree,
Let it be love, so I can enjoy Christmas again,
So my heart won’t be from stone anymore…

'k vind het geen mooi gedicht...maar een verhaaltje...inhoud is wel goed, maar het gedicht niet goed vormgegeven...jammer wel. (l)
