Just when she decides to return it to your sister,
She opens it, and sees your stuff..

You stupid fool!

Oh shit, there she comes!
She’s holding it, as evidence
Her eyes are full of hate
Here we go, she says:

‘What are you doing with this thing!
You fag! Stay out our stuff!
Think about the family!
We always knew you weren’t one of us..’

She slaps you in the face
And you run to your room, ‘cause you want to cry
‘I don’t need a suitcase’, you think
‘I only need what I deserve’..

You run down the stairs, this time
And take it away from your mommy
There you go, down the street
A fifteen years old with his purse

Hij is mooi...! Echt waar!! Ik vind het heel moeilijk inhoudelijk op gedichtjes in te gaan, dus dat doe ik maar niet. Het is heel apart geschreven, op een manier die heel vertrouwd overkomt.. ik weet ook niet hoe ik het moet zeggen. Geweldig Plien :)

Leuk beschreven onderwerp, anders en ook af en toe best de harde waarheid :(

Ik vind het wat minder 'poetisch' als je me begrijpt, meer een songtekst :) Ook vind ik dat je de tekst op veel punten 'onderbreekt', zinnen lijken niet te passen, lees maar eens op:

"Every day, after school, you admire it

En lees dan eens bijv:

"Every day, you admire after school,

mooi, niet echt nuttige reactie... maar kweet ff niets beters...

Hmja, ik snap wat je bedoeld, en het zou eerst ook als een songtekst bedoeld moeten zijn.. Maar dat lukte niet echt, nu is het dus iets ertussenin. Maar.. hmja, in jouw oplossing, rijmt het dus weer, en dan word ik dus weer zo zeikerig van '1 ding rijmt, alles moet rijmen!' :D En.. ik wou het gewoon een beetje simpel houden, omdat ik eerst vond dat het bestemd was voor een klein kind.. Weetje, ik kwam eigenlijk op het idee door een tekst van Eminem (Ik haat Eminem, maar Tori Amos heeft dat nummer gecovered..) Daarin wordt aan een klein kind door haar vader verteld dat hij haar moeder heeft vermoord, maar dan op zo'n manier dat het niet meteen zo overkomt.. En dat is zo mooi! Die tekst:

Oh.. okay, maar ik had die tekst net gelezen, en om de een of andere reden kreeg ik dat niet uit mn hoofd, helemaal dat zinnetje van hell, prison, jail, heaven niet.. Maar ik schrijf altijd heel erg kinderlijk, kan ik niets aan doen.. altijd beetje gebrekkig Engels.. en dan zou ik wel in het Nederlands kunnen schrijven, maar dan wordt het zo onpersoonlijk..

pff, liegebeest. die stukjes die je me net liet lezen waren supermooi, ik meen het. ik verdween er helemaal in... heb dat nummer van Tori Amos net gedownload, soow heej, echt mooi!

Dat waren verhaaltjes, maar toch bedankt. :) Ik hou er eigenlijk niet van als het perfect rijmt, in het engels niet, maar ook in het Nederlands niet, dus komt het vaak neer op een verhaal, maar dit is dan toch nog minder verhaal, tekst, dan die in het Nederlands.. En mooi nummer he! Verandert de tekst wel gelijk, vind ik, maar wel in positieve zin. :)
