It’s your most personal treasure
One that no-one has to see You stole it, from your little sister She thinks she lost it, by the pool.. It’s too dangerous to show outside The boys don’t have one, for themselves You’re afraid, they’ll take it away from you So you hide it, in a place, even I don’t know Every day, after school, you admire it When there’s no-one else in the room Your parents don’t like you very much They think you’re crazy.. One day, your mother is cleaning the living room She finds it, in the leather chair Just when she decides to return it to your sister, She opens it, and sees your stuff.. You stupid fool! Why did you leave that in there! We all KNOW what will happen next, don’t we?! You’re screwed man! Oh shit, there she comes! She’s holding it, as evidence Her eyes are full of hate Here we go, she says: ‘What are you doing with this thing! You fag! Stay out our stuff! Think about the family! We always knew you weren’t one of us..’ She slaps you in the face And you run to your room, ‘cause you want to cry ‘I don’t need a suitcase’, you think ‘I only need what I deserve’.. You run down the stairs, this time And take it away from your mommy There you go, down the street A fifteen years old with his purse His pretty pink purse, his pretty pink purse..

Hij is mooi...! Echt waar!! Ik vind het heel moeilijk inhoudelijk op gedichtjes in te gaan, dus dat doe ik maar niet. Het is heel apart geschreven, op een manier die heel vertrouwd overkomt.. ik weet ook niet hoe ik het moet zeggen. Geweldig Plien

Leuk beschreven onderwerp, anders en ook af en toe best de harde waarheid
 Ik vind het wat minder 'poetisch' als je me begrijpt, meer een songtekst Ook vind ik dat je de tekst op veel punten 'onderbreekt', zinnen lijken niet te passen, lees maar eens op:"Every day, after school, you admire it When there?s no-one else in the room Your parents don?t like you very much They think you?re crazy.." En lees dan eens bijv: "Every day, you admire after school, When there?s no-one in the room Your parents act unliking Crazy little fool" Mwa, mijn meninkje
