ff copy/paste: Killzone, ontwikkeld door het Nederlandse Guerilla, werd van begin af aan getipt als een spel dat op de PS2 hetzelfde teweeg zou brengen als dat Halo op de Xbox deed. De spellen kennen dan ook een aardig aantal overeenkomsten. Beide games zijn FPS en zich spelen grotendeels in de openlucht af en in beide spellen kan je maar een beperkt aantal wapens met je meedragen. Toch onderscheidt Killzone zich door een realistischer thema, een wat meer grimmige sfeer en de aanwezigheid van teamwork. Ook zal Killzone flinke multiplayer ondersteuning bieden, incl dingen waarvan sony zegt dat het "revolutionair" is. dat moeten we nog wel zien. Het ziet er wel (voor een ps2) verrekte goed uit! en dat van nederlandse bodem

But the 'Helghast', a mean faction has plans to take over the galaxy. And you understand, the whole earth's colony must die. You're fighting behind enemy lines to defeat the Helghast and bring peace to the world. With 26 levels and four playable characters to play the whole game another time is Killzone a very big and great game. 21 handheld weapons with secondary and melee functions and five pre-fixed weapons are all available in Killzone. Killzone supports full online gameplay as SCEE said, but we don't have more info about that. There are speculations about an offline co-op mode and it's nearly 100% sure that there will be much multiplayer game-modes! Die outdoor scenes lijken me best mogelijk, als je ziet hoeveel fogging er wordt gebruikt. Maar goed, spelleke komt pas ergens eind 2004...dus ze kunnen nog lang door tweaken.
