One of the most popular hardcore dancing styles is the two-step. Most local venues have their own style of two-step, such as the "Memphis two-step", "Texas two-step", "Little Rock two-step" and so on.Two-stepping is usually performed during mid-tempo punk rock-style riffs and beats. This move is similar to the two-step in break dancing but is also closely related to skanking (or the skank-step) often found in ska or (predominately oldschool) punk rock dancing circles. It involves throwing one leg back, and then swinging it all the way around before throwing it back again, landing on it and repeating with the other leg while swinging forward with the opposite hand. This creates a running in place illusion. A common move including the two step is the circle pit, where two-steppers will switch to a group circle-motion around the pit area to a slightly faster punk tempo, as opposed to two-stepping usually being done in place, or in close proximity to the dancer's floor space.

T is een 'invloeden van'-lijstje he, geen 'klinkt als'-lijstje. T is goed dansbare agressieve oldschool. (ofzo)

ZOOOOOO waar. En waarom zouden alleen MOSHPARTS moshbaar zijn, de kunst is net muziek te maken waar je altijd los op wil gaan.

Exactly. Een leuke moshpart maakt iedereen in 2 min.

Meer bands waar er op volle ragsnelheid "crazy pit action" is haha.

Ga eens bij DRI kijken. Dudes slaan elkaar verrot gedurende de hele show.

Overigens is t mij om t even of mensen "dansen" op een band. Als dat je doel is, kies dan een genre waar mooie meisjes op je shit gaan dansen.

Misschien ook wel zo handig om er bij te vermelden dat er voor begin juni opnames gepland staan...
