Ik moest voor engels een persoonlijke brief schrijven...heeft iemand nog op/aanmerkingen op onderstaande brief???
------------------------------------------ IJsselmeerlaan 82 8304 DB Emmeloord The Netherlands Tuesday, 2 October 2001 Dear Tommy, I have read about Jörg Haider and his political view, which is extreme right-wing. I would like to know what your opinion on it is. I have been planning to go to Austria in my summer holidays, but I am not sure any more if that is the right thing to do. But on the other hand, my girl friend lives in Austria and I really want to meet her. Did I tell you? I met her during my last holidays in the United States. Last week I went to my grandmother in the city of Amersfoort. I went there by train, but on my road back my train had a delay. But that delay caused me to miss my bus. It was the last bus to my home. I had to take a taxi home, which cost me about 135 guilders. I hope to hear from you soon, Take care, Martijn van der Laan

Vind ik nogal raar klinken. Kun je "my home" niet verwisselen met de plaats waar je woont? Verder, is het in een informele brief nodig om alle vormen voluit te schrijven (I am, it is)? Ik dacht dat dat alleen bij een formele brief moest. Love

Als iets tussen haakjes staat, is het op zich niet fout, maar zou ik het zo doen

I have thought of going to Austria in my summer holidays, but I am not sure any more if that is the right thing to do. Though, on the other hand, my girl friend lives there and I really want to meet her. Did I tell you how we met? It was during my last holidays in the United States. (vertel hier iets meer over )Last week I went to my grandmother in the city of Amersfoort. I went there by train, but on my way back the train I had to take had a delay. Because of this I missed my bus. Unfortunately that bus was the last one driving that day, thus I had to take a taxi home which costed me about 135 guilders. Hope this bad experience with the Dutch Railywas will be my last one! I hope to hear from you soon, Take care, Martijn van der Laan Erm,.. het was een geintje dat van die Nederlandse spoorwegen, maar ik kon het even niet laten Ik heb best veel veranderd, maar dat hoeft natuurlijk niet goed te zijn! Iedereen bedankt voor zijn hulp, maar verbeteringen aanbrengen hoeft niet meer. Ik heb hem nl. al ingeleverd..
