You brought me to the forest,
The one place I love to be,
You gave me real warmth,
Like no one ever gave me.

Everything was so perfect,
So much love in one day,
And in your strong arms,
I did want to stay.

And when I woke up,
I had a smile on my face,
In my dreams I was again,
In our perfect place.

But tears started falling,
I realised you aren’t here,
I think I miss you a lot,
But, thank god, I feel it,
Without any fear…

Mijn Engels is slecht, dat weet je...maar ik vind dit raar staan... Misschien is het heel goed Engels, kan best, neem me dan maar niks kwalijk. Verder vind ik het gedichtje mooi en duidelijk, die Nederlandse vind ik mooier en beter.
