Weet niet meer precies wat hier de belangrijke ontwikkelingen waren. EPISODE 25 - "THE SHOWER" 4/21/04 In the kitchen. Kirsten can't believe Julie and Caleb are getting married in two weeks. Sandy can only laugh at the situation, mainly because Caleb's ballpark figure to purchase The Lighthouse was so huge, Sandy and Jimmy don't really care what he does anymore. In other love news, Ryan admits to everyone that he and Marissa are officially back on and he and Theresa are officially back off. The phone rings. Sandy picks up. It's Theresa. But actually, she wants to talk to Sandy about a legal question. Can she meet him at the Balboa Bakery? Oh, and please don't tell Ryan. A cheerful Julie pops into Kirsten's office. Kirsten asks for a moment to finish her phone call, but Julie keeps talking anyway. Kirsten gives her a moment and Julie comes out swinging. She needs Kirsten to host a shower for her. As Julie's maid of honor, it's the thing she should do. Besides, Caleb has already arranged to have it at the club. A classy couples shower, with gifts. Stunned by the barrage of news, Kirsten gives the okay. At school, Marissa listens to her voice mail. Caleb left a message that, per their agreement, he wants Marissa to throw the shower for Julie at the club. Watching from a couch, Seth can't comprehend the new, cheery Ryan and Marissa. Summer tells him to not worry about it. At that moment, Summer gets a call from her dad, which sets Seth off wondering why he's never met Mr. and Mrs. Summer. She explains that her dad can be a tough one to meet and her mom is at Canyon Ranch dealing with her stress. But they can go to lunch with her dad. Sandy meets up with Theresa, who has a black eye courtesy of Eddie. Sandy hopes that she's leaving him but Theresa says it's complicated. What will happen if he does this again and she presses charges? Sandy says that anything could happen and if she's asking these kinds of questions, she shouldn't be marrying the guy. Seth is chilling with a book in his room when Summer drops by with the news that lunch is on for tomorrow. And he wants Seth to sit under bright lights so Dad can see him better. Also, order a steak because greens are effeminate. Over at his apartment, Jimmy and Hailey are making out on the couch when he suggests a move to the bedroom. Hailey points out that Marissa will be home soon. And you know what? Here she is. They try to cover Hailey's visit, but pretty clumsily. Marissa ain't buying. But she assures Jimmy that she's happy for him. On another note, she tries to broach the subject of her impending move into Caleb and Julie's, but before she can, Jimmy lets her know that he'll be buying a house with his Lighthouse money and everything will work out just fine. Later that night at the Cohens', Marissa hears the news that Seth is meeting Summer's dad. She's fairly amused at the thought of it. In the kitchen, Sandy and Kirsten share disbelief over Theresa and Eddie. Kirsten thinks Ryan's holding up pretty well considering and Sandy tells her Theresa swore him to secrecy. If Ryan found out, he'd head back to Chino looking for a fight, break his probation and end up back in juvy. The next morning, Marissa swings by the house. Ryan tries to pick her off to warn her that Julie is wedding planning with Kirsten. Julie is happy to see her daughter, but Marissa makes it clear she's here to help Kirsten. Kirsten asks why none of Julie's family is on the guest list. Marissa replies that, well, Aunt Cindy is really the only one she ever talks to. At the apartment, The Lighthouse deal is finalized. Caleb is paying Sandy and Jimmy twice what they put into the place. Caleb departs and Sandy wonders just what he's up to. Jimmy doesn't care, he's just happy to have money again. But Sandy wanted Jimmy's redemption to come from the restaurant, not Caleb's checkbook. Jimmy eagerly points out that now Sandy has time to get back to work. His real work. Helping kids and other lost causes. Kirsten is getting her first dose of Aunt Cindy. It's…a lot to handle. Marissa and Ryan come in and Marissa is thrilled to see her aunt again. Then it comes out that Julie and Cindy talk about once every seven years and they didn't last part on good terms. Julie comes in and her mood suddenly drops when she sees Cindy, who tells her that Marissa invited her. Marissa and Ryan helpfully slip out to let the adults resolve their differences. The lunch. Seth nervously explains Chrismukkah and his love of comic books. It's not going well. Elsewhere, Jimmy and Hailey decide it's finally time to break the news of their…lust. But then they decide it isn't the right time after all. A little more kissing, which is interrupted by Julie and Kirsten opening the front door. So, maybe now is the right time? Ryan and Marissa swing by the bakery to pick up the shower cake. Guess who's working there now? Theresa. Ryan sees her black eye and asks if it's Eddie's doing. Theresa figures Sandy went ahead and told Ryan, but Ryan can't believe Sandy knew about this. The next morning, Sandy brings Kirsten coffee in bed. He tells her he'll be late for the shower tonight because he's heading to Chino to knock some sense into Eddie. Give him a scare. Kirsten tells him he has enough to worry about. How about inviting Theresa to breakfast? See what she wants. Sandy then drops in on the pool house. He wants to make sure Ryan understands why he didn't say anything about Theresa. But Ryan has to get ready for the shower. Theresa visits the Cohen homestead. Ryan sees her. She tells Ryan that it's her problem and she has to figure it out. Ryan says she can't possible stay with Eddie, but Theresa jokes that it'll be just fine. She jokes because she's tired of crying. Marissa comes over to see if the Cohens are ready for the shower. When she walks into the kitchen, she sees Theresa next to Ryan. Again. Putting on a happy face, Marissa invites her to the shower. Shower time! Kirsten and Julie are nervous. Marissa isn't enjoying herself. Theresa finds her later hiding out in the caterer's tent. Time for a girl-to-girl. Outside, a drunken Aunt Cindy asks the assembly if they've ever played the old party favorite "How Well Do You Know The Bride?" First question, what is Julie's favorite meal? The answer? A double double with extra sauce, large fries and an orange soda. Ryan finds Theresa and Marissa. Theresa's phone rings. It's Eddie, calling again to apologize. Ryan grabs the phone, tells Eddie to leave her alone and hangs up. Theresa tells Ryan it's not his business, but then Ryan finds out that this isn't the first time Eddie knocked her around. Back outside… so, growing up, who was Julie's first love? Answer: The entire defensive line of the eighth grade football team. That's enough. Julie storms out. Ryan, awfully determined, grabs Marissa's keys. Seth tries to interfere, but Ryan demands to be left alone. Ryan gets into Marissa's car, but Sandy picks him off. Theresa has to decide on her own. We can't force her. Ryan tells Sandy that he doesn't get it, but Sandy has seen way too many kids to know Ryan can't force Eddie to change. Ryan can't do nothing! He takes off in the car. Inside, Cindy finds Julie pouting on a couch. Julie asks if Cindy wants money. Why else would she be here? Cindy says those people outside aren't Julie's friends. She's here because years ago Julie took off and left Cindy back in Riverside. Next time we see Ryan, he's at the Mermaid. He got as far as Corona, but realized that Eddie's not the one he needs to talk to. Theresa wonders what she's supposed to do. Wait for a rich family to let her live in their pool house? Why not? Ryan brings Theresa home and the Cohens say she can stay in the pool house as long as she wants. Ryan will bunk with Seth. Marissa, sitting by the pool, tries to process the news that Theresa is staying in Newport. Ryan comes out to talk and they realize they're going to be just fine, thanks. |

Dat stukje dat Seth en Summer op een bank zaten en zich verbaasden over de vrolijkheid van Ryan en Marissa
 En inderdaad oja, zo zag Ryan er lachend uit. Dat gedoe met Summers vader was echt niet leuk! Seth was wel strontvervelend bij die lunch, maar toch, gaat ze weer de snob uithangen en zich veel te druk maken om wat iemand anders vind en niet hoe zij zich voelt. Ik hoop echt dat dat weer goed komt. Wat mensen al hadden gezegd, dat Ryan bij Seth moest, vaag inderdaad. Zou Theresa nu echt blijven? Marissa reageerde wel goed En Jimmy en Hailey eindelijk bekend

Anyways, ik ben nu helemaal hooked. Ben heel het eerste seizoen aan het downloaden (heb de eerste zooi eps nooit gezien). Omg! Seth is daar nog zo heerlijk modieus -> aka skatekleertjes -> aka yummie (net zo yummie en schattig als mijn vriendje ). Lol. Die draagt echt letterlijk dezelfde kleren.

idd een heel verschil
maar afgezien daarvan, het lukt me nog steeds niet om de eps te downloaden, zou iemand zo aardig willen zijn me een pm te sturen met hoe ik het nou wel moet doen (pm als in dan hoeft de rest die het al weet er geen last van te hebben)? Ik kreeg maar zo half mee hoe het nou moest, dus het is nog niet gelukt. Iemand? Alvast bedankt! |
