Tied down to an enormous wheel,
a wheel spinning and turning,
the movement making me sick,
but what I see makes me sicker,
the world slowly falling apart,
people screaming for absolution,
it's all clear to me now,
the world really is hard.

Surrounded by fire I look around,
people reaching for their possesions,
fighting for food like madmen,
standing in a fire as warm as the sun,
my eyes are opened and I learn much,
seeing those people hurt each other,
I realise humanity really is dumb.

the last of us dying,
with remaining hope fading,
I say good bye to our world,
our world of hate and destruction,
and despite the pain I feel,
a smile colours my face,
as I know nothing can be worse,
the world I leave was always cursed.
