I

Her blood stained feathers
flew her above the storms
of tragedy and death.

A flight of pain,
agony and disbelief,
a flight of tears,
loneliness and grief.

For she, tender and naive,
was wounded, early and deeply,
by the sword of life.

sHe is my angel of broken winds,
she is the tearful child I hold in my mind.

sHe is the shrine of my comforting love.

Her precious soul,
a cradle of art,
her passionate heart,
the oceans of creation.

Gifted and fearful,
her words turn to prayers,
darkened and sensual,
her music of nature.

SHe is the poet of endless spirit,
She is the fountain of fierceful emotions.

SHe is the shrine of my soul searching love.

The crown of victory
She stole from temptation,
She is like a cliff
for waves to crash against.

Upon himself,
She built a man,
before his actions,
as a rock he stands.

SHe is the soldier in the war of life,
She is the phoenix of his own rebirth.

He is the shrine of my admiring love.

Within her arms,
She beholds my fears,
with her loving words,
She enfolds my tears.

As if a fire of sparkling flames,
as if an angel of healing touch,
She makes me warm,
She keeps me safe.

SHe is the wall I lean upon,
She is the castle of my reborn trust.

SHe is the shrine of my woman's love.
