I know I love you
I know you love her
I know I don't stand a chance
You gave up on me
I wish you wouldn't have
Maybe we'd have a shot right now
After all these confusing times
All those words you said
After what you told me
How can I be sure of what you really mean?
For all I know, it could be lies your telling me
That scares me
The fear of not being able to trust you
I wish you'd take that doubt away from me
But you can't..
You just keep on doing what you've always done
That is not paying attention to me
Actually I don't care anymore
At least, that's what I tell myself
But really, can't you see?

It's gone as soon as you meet somebody else
But that doesn't matter anymore
I'm moving on
And leaving the past at the door

Because those images will frighten me

I can't bare to see you ever again
Let along with that someone
I know I must have confused you so many times
But all those doubts and questions are now gone

We should move on
Now we're standing still in the past
Fastforward to the future
Maybe we'd be friends, at last

I have only one problem

All those things which you remind me of
The things you say, the things you do

I'm going to wanna leave, I do
But I've waited here too long
Wanna get far away from you
