Eye identification:
With iris scanning the user looks into a lens and information on the iris is read in there.
Iris scanning is less reliable than finger scanning. For instance it is possible to mislead the scanner by putting the print of an iris scan on a piece of paper, and keeping this in front of the scanner. Long lashes, watering eyes and hard lenses can make scanning difficult.
Voice identification:
With voice recognition the user must pronounce a certain sentence, by which measured voices are compared with stored data. An advantage of this method is that people need not take off any gloves or lenses. An important disadvantage of this form of biometric is the size of the file which must be stored.
Palm identification:
The palm identification works as follows. The palm is the inside of your hand. This is scanned by the machine for recognition. The next time that you want to enter the machine will recognize you. An advantage is that a larger surface can be scanned, and more precisely can be determined if the person is also really the one for whom he presents himself.
