Fireflies

We wouldn’t even notice
we were lying there alone.
In a wood with open tree-paths,
a timeless human-free zone.

And we will never get bored,
of the tales the elves shall tell
‘bout little dwarves and big giants,
and the witch with the mean spell.

Fireflies would surround us,
why should they be afraid to die?
If everybody is going to the same place
the same place as you and I.
