Do you know this secret place?
I've been there, haven't seen your face.
It's a place, dark and hollow
But I saw a star, which I chose to follow.
The light broke through; it lighted up my head.
Could have stayed there, but chose life instead.
Sometimes this place gets a grip on me,
I fight back, because I know where I want to be.

Have you ever wondered why,
at nights, stars flood your sky?
They're saving the soul of a dark night.
Like friends, helping you in your fight.

Who needs sorrow, when there's fortune?
You'll have to search for it; it's your only option!
Chances slip away with every passing day.
You’ll have to realize this someday.
Hope you will not find it out to late.
You only have one lifetime; it’s your known fate.
Left this secret place, saw no use to stay.
Followed a bright star, it took my sorrow away.
