Citaat:
Forgotten Silence (Czech) “Bya Bamahe Neem”
It’s been 4 years since the last opus “Ka Ba Ach” and an amazing 6 years since the awesome “Senyaan” album, which sold scores of copies through this very catalogue. Those of you who bought it will no doubt love the experimental craziness of this Czech band and will know that you have to expect surprises from start to finish. The first surprise on this album is that the band has practically dropped death metal from their repertoire. Instead this is a very calm and laid back album. The death growls are used minimally and distorted guitars are used in equal proportions to clean and acoustic guitars. Female vocals courtesy of Hanka are the dominant style now. There is still the Arabic flavour as was present on “Ka Ba Ach” and some tribal vibes especially on closing 17 minute plus track ”Come With Me as Far as Behind the Horizon” but overall this is quite different to previous releases. I won’t say this is there best or worst album as it is very different to previous albums and is therefore, hard to compare. One thing is for sure though; with Forgotten Silence you need an open mind!

Hmm, jeej..
