Tijdens het inleveren van mijn Engelss minute bleek dit deel fout te zijn: kan iemand zien wat er fouit aan is?

Het zijn voornamelijk grammaticale fouten. Het kiezen van de juiste "tijd" voor een werkwoord. Het maken van een goed lopende zin. Dat soort dingen. Je vergeet ook wel eens een woord hier en daar.

En hoezo 'a minute of toxic substances' dat is letterlijk vertaald: Een minuut van giftige stoffen

Nee Voleuse... "minute" heeft meerdere betekenissen In dit geval betekent "minute", "minimaal" of "zeer klein". In dit geval spreek je het overigens niet uit als "mih-nut", maar als "mai-njut".

Zoals ik al zei, de TS vergeet soms woorden in zijn zinnen. In dit geval moet het iets zijn als "a minute amount of toxic substances". Een vergelijkbare constructie is "trace amounts of toxic substances".
